EFP Group Names Chairman and Managing Partner
Founding Partner Robert N. Porretti, CPA, has been named Partnership Chairman at EFP Group and Timothy J. McNamara, CPA, has been named Managing Partner.
As Chairman, Porretti guides the firm’s strategic planning. As Managing Partner, McNamara oversees day-to-day operations.

Founded in 1979, the firm, with offices in Rochester and Canandaigua, is a leading regional accounting and business consulting firm that employs more than 70 people. EFP Group includes Eldredge, Fox & Porretti, LLP; EFP Wealth Advisors, LLC; and StoneBridge Business Partners.
Growth and expansion

Robert N. Porretti, a founding partner of Eldredge, Fox & Porretti, LLP, specializes in providing tax and consulting services to closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. The consulting services range from business and financial planning to mergers and acquisitions along with business succession planning. His clients span a wide variety of industries with a concentration in professional services, contracting, manufacturing, and real estate management and development.
Porretti is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), CPAmerica International, and Rochester Chamber of Commerce—Small Business Council.
Within the community, Porretti serves on the Board of Directors of the Italian Heritage Foundation of Rochester. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors for Aquinas Institute and a member of the Advisory Board for the Monroe County Special Olympics.
A 1968 alum of Ithaca College, Porretti lives in Penfield with his wife, Janette.
Timothy J. McNamara specializes in audits of governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations and business planning for the construction and printing industries as well as for family and closely-held businesses. He also advises individuals on tax and personal financial planning.
McNamara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)—Personal Financial Planning Division; the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA); and CPAmerica International.
Within the community, McNamara serves as Treasurer for Disabled Children of Monroe County, Inc. (Wegmans Rochester International) and as President of LDA Life and Learning Services. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Friendly Home and serves on the Finance Committee at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
A 1975 alum of St. John Fisher College, McNamara lives in Brighton with his wife, Patti, and his daughter Caitlin.
